I have long been a fan of the Science of Sport blog by Ross Tucker and Jonathon Dugass. I am a fan because they take basic hard core science and use it to shoot holes in some of the more controversial topics in sports science. Most notably, they spotted Lance Armstrong as a cheat simply by looking at his power output and comparing to what could be expected in ideal conditions.
Occasionally they drift off their main line of interest and look at the cross over between sport and business and in a recent article they presented this excellent little graphic that I have copied below.
I have actually snipped it out and placed it on my desktop because it is a wonderfully little ready reckoner of where you are in your journey and what part of the process of your journey might be missing.
Thanks for the link Chris. What a blog!
