I am sometimes intrigued at the breathless commentary that accompanies each move in the market. As is my habit I flicked on my ipad whilst waiting for the kettle to boil and was greeted by Bloomberg jabbering about the impact of the US government shut down.
To put this into context this is the state of the US markets as I write this.
Hardly disastrous and hardly terrifying. Admittedly one of my short term Nasdaq 100 trades was popped out but all my long US stocks are still in play.
