“AHHH… STOCKBOT… What an insightful, mechanical trader you are!” I said, as I sipped my margarita. “Teach us your ways, oh wise one. We are but mere fallible trading humans, struggling to achieve your level of perfection.”
And… at that… Stockbot took a liberal gulp of his own cocktail – a long, cool glass of oil. He leaned towards me. I leaned in too – sensing I was on the brink of a trading breakthrough.
“Humans SUCK when it comes to being consistent!” he exclaimed. “Only a few specimens make it to the top and even then… they have to keep on working at it to stay disciplined. The ones who ARE disciplined and consistent are the only ones who will ever beat me in the markets”.
With his arms folded behind his head, he leaned back in his chair, shut his eyes, and powered down for the night.
So… there you have it, my fellow trading brothers and sisters. Straight from the mechanical trading specialist himself. Develop consistency and you too will beat Stockbot at this mystical game we call ‘trading’.
