In my line of work many times I will quote a fee for a service and will have “that’s not a bad hourly rate” as a retort. (something I am sure that fulltime traders have to also hear!) When you divide the thousands of hours of training into the fee the presumed hourly rate is decimated. Thanks for showing the hard yards behind every success Chris.
It must be so hard on sprinters after all the work they do (like all elite athletes) if something even slightly goes wrong with their technique or something else in that less than 10 second race and it could be enough to not succeed. There is no room for error over those short events.
