UNDER PRESSURE WE snap. We get paranoid. We assume the worst.
It crushes our sense of fun and our passion.
I see it in my friends. Stress mounts up and they become their worst version of themselves… or the best.
Some take it as a platform to launch themselves into their true life’s purpose.
Recognising what they DON’T want makes what they DO want jump into clarity. Like an old fashioned camera struggling to focus, suddenly, all the fuzzy edges become sharp.
Confusion gives way, leaving a clear path leading forward.
We can allow stress to crush us… or we can use it to push against. It’s a choice.
As a trader, over the Christmas break, do you have a plan of action for your trading? Most members of our Mentor Program are planning on not entering new trades between mid-December and the end of January.
Volumes are lower, it’s harder to get into, and out of, positions, and signals dry up. Sounds like a good time for a bit of a break from the markets.
Most traders don’t automatically close out their existing positions in December/January. They put in auto-stops and wait until those stops are hit before the close out their trade.
What about your current positions? What are you going to do with them over the holiday period?
Plan now… and reap the benefits.
Did you achieve what you were hoping for in 2018? Were most of your goals hit?
With the ones that you missed, are you re-setting them, or are you moving in a different direction?
Yes, it’s a great time of year for reflection. A great time of year to examine where you’re headed.
So… especially at this time of year, know that the non-traders around you can never fully understand your vision… your goals for your future.
What you’re doing will set you apart from the majority of people out there, hoping their lives will get better.
