Perhaps this is why people dont like to train with me….

PS: For those interested in this sort of thing Google what is known as the Tabata Protocol. This is based upon work done by Prof Izumi Tabata whose original work laid the basis for much of the subsequent interest in high intensity training. Pity they didn’t give him any credit for it in the Catalyst episode.
Tabata is referenced in the credits but another current comprehensive treatment is by Michael Mosely in ‘Fast Exercise’. I am an old bloke and have used Fast Diet (5/2) by Mosely for a few months now with excellent results and have only been on a Fast Exercise plan for a few weeks, but it is already making a big difference to my energy levels and how I think about my age – barriers are disappearing!
Man, the mouse on the treadmill was so interesting to me.
I’m studying aged care … I just find those results absolutely
fascinating and I wonder how they can be applied in
an aged care setting.
I guess I’m going home, or waiting til’ more pain killers kick in.
