Lockheed, jet propulsion lab uses 3D printing for parts with much finer tolerances than can be machined.
A dentist in USA is using it to make replacement teeth.
Along with stem cell research, we are moving into our greatest period.
They are now also making heart valves & other replacement body parts with 3D printers. Medical procedures such as kidney replacements, liver transplants & heart transplants won’t require donor organs but will be tailor made to suit the recipient. A brave new world awaits those lucky enough to see it.
