WE ALL LOSE OUR way sometimes.
Even after you’ve nailed this trading game, and you’ve come out on top, sometimes it seems like the universe likes to screw with you and make you feel like life is a big Jenga game.
The only constant with this is YOU.
You’re the one in the screenplay of your own life. You decide whether it’s a comedy, a melodrama or a tragedy. You’ve got more control over your script than you realise.
That’s what being an adult is… lost, found, lost found. It’s only when you really freak out that you get truly lost, staggering around in the trading wilderness.
Or the wilderness of life.
Sometimes the two seem almost completely linked.
But you do have a purpose. Sometimes it shimmers, just out of reach. Other times, it burns bright for all to see. Flashbulb bright.
There’s always a way around a rough patch… even if it’s not quite the solution you were hoping for.
Knowing that an option exists to see you out of your funk is the first step towards GETTING out of your funk.
Sometimes you’ve got to stagger back to the start line and begin again. Other times, it might just be a slight backward step.
I can tell you one thing for certain though. Motion beats meditation every time.
Keep moving…
Even if it’s just a stagger in the right direction.
Men are born soft and supple; dead, they are stiff and hard.
Plants are born tender and pliant; dead, they are brittle and dry.
Thus whoever is stiff and inflexible is a disciple of death.
Whoever is soft and yielding is a disciple of life.
The hard and stiff will be broken.
The soft and supple will prevail.
