Never ceases to amaze me!
We may not have really even begun to be amazed.
One important lesson handed to me by the market is that my opinion of company X or Y or Z doesn’t matter. These days, if I have a need to open a position I buy whatever comes up according to the rules of my system even if I can’t imagine it doing well.
As an example, had one asked me at any stage if DMP was a buy I wouldn’t have thought it had any chance at all of making the sorts of returns it has. My opinion is they make ordinary Pizza in a crowded market, I can do better at home or buy better from any of the mum and dad shops out there etc etc As you say, none of that matters.
