I am not a big motivational type of guy – in fact I think that motivational speaking is largely a load of bollocks. It is a akin to loading a two year old every preservative known to mankind and then watching them zoom around like a fly in a bottle.
However, I think people who have actually done something – note the qualifier…..actually done something can inspire you to get off your arse and see how far you can go.
This is a little piece on Charlie Wittmack the only person to complete the world triathlon. This is not your standard swim/bike/run event it consists of the following.
1. Swim 442km down the Thames and then across the English Channel.
2. Ride 14,000 km to Calcutta – including a stretch over the Himalyas.
3. Run 1,500km from the Bay of Bengal to the summit of Everest.
So whats on your agenda?
