I have been chatting with another trader regarding the USD and they sent me this article from The Economist which screams loudly –

Read this speech, then sell the dollar

Well I didnt read the article for several reasons.

1. I couldnt be stuffed.

2. I dont think I would understand it – the dismal science of economics was never my forte. Neither is homeopathy and I put economics in the same basket.

3. Did I mention I couldnt be stuffed.

4. This sort of thing doesnt actually give me a tradeable view- it gives me an opinion based upon an interpretation. As such we are now two iterations away from a fact.

To solve these problems I could simply look at the USD and see what price is actually doing rather than listen to what someone thinks it should be doing. I couldnt give a baboons big read arse what some plonker thinks.
